BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
For its tenth birthday party" last week the Lyceum Club, Lambton Quay, was gay with spring flowers and streamers of blue and gold, the club colours.
Many of the members woro fancy dress, and tho prize for the best representation of her own grandmother, about" 1850, was won by Miss Fagan. In contrast with the old-time costumes were the up-to-the-minute frocks worn by the younger members in a mannequin parade, arranged by Miss Fuller.
A birthday cake with, ten candles was a feature of supper.' ' The club received as presents a/clothes, brush in pewter work made by the Art (Circle, and a beautiful reproduction of the picture "The Menin Gate., from .the president, Mrs. C. J. B. Norwood.-
