IN PRICE OF BUTTER

A. H. Turnbull and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their principals, W. Weddel and Co., Ltd., London, dated September 20:—

"Danish butter, 120s per cwt; New Zealand finest, 109s; 'Kangaroo' (Australian), 109s.

"New Zealand white cheese, 54s per cwt; New Zealand coloured cheese, 555. Both markets are firm."

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., has received the follouing advice from its London house, dated September 20:—"Dairy produce: Butter, New Zealand choicest, salted, finest, 109s; first grade, IOCs per cwt. Cheese, white, 54s per ewt; cheese, coloured, 55s per cwt. Market firm with upward tendency."
