BOARD OF CONTROL MEETS
AUSTRALIA'S PLANS
The Australian Cricket Board of Control is meeting in Sydney today, and the meeting promises to be one of considerable importance not only for Australia, but for the cricket worM. The question of Australia's visit to England next year is bound to loom large in the business to be discussed. _ It seems that the tour, to England is to take place, and it is expected that the manager of the team will be appointed at today's meeting: There are known to be- several applicants for the position. Another appointment will be that of the treasurer of the touring side, and the men will be named to select Australia's team. Of particular interest to, New Zealand will be the attitude adopted by tho Board of Control regarding the representations made . for ; a visit to New Zealand this season by a team from Australia. The case for New Zealand was presented some time ago by Mr. A. T. Donnelly, and it has since received some support in Australia. ' ;.
