tournament. Cotton defeated Kenyon in the morning and Button in the afternoon in the third round, 5 and 4. Alliss defeated Sherlock, 5 and i. Hodson beat Padgham, 1 up. Green beat Firkins, 2 up; Seymour beat Bees, 2 and 1; Compstou beat Watts, 5 and 3; Ballantinc beat Davies. C. Whitcombe, R. Whitcombe, and Denny were eliminated in the second round.
Alliss meets Cotton on Thursday.
