LOSSES ON TAXICABS.

The liquidator of the Checker Cab Company (Australasia), Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation), Sydney, has issued a second report, giving details of receipts and payments from May 26, 1932, to May 31, 1933. Realisations by the liquidator amounted to £3743, including sundry debtors £1362, fleet, stock, plant, etc., £212-1, and rents £259, and after meeting expenses there was a balance of £2700. Assets remaining unrealised are the company's freehold property. The liquidator stated that there was no likelihood of ordinary shareholders receiving any dividend, and that any distribution to preference shareholders was contingent on the successful realisation of the freehold properties.
