TIMAKU, This Day. The death is announced by the Press Association from Timaru of Mr. Thomas E. Mackny, well known in stock .and station circles, acclimatisation matters, and sporting.
A combined effort early this month by organisations in Trentham, Upper Hutt, and Silverstream to assist the V.M.C.A. at Trentham camp resulted in the sum.of nearly £75 being handed over by the committee,
