OBITITARY
MR. O. B. MCALOON
Mr. Owen Bernard McAloon, of the Post and : Telegraph Department, died suddenly yesterday, shortly, after his arrival in Wellington from Dunedin to take tip the appointment of 'accountant in the Telegraph Engineer's office. Mr. McAloon, who was 36 years of age, was formerly accountant in the 'Telegraph Engineer's Office, Dunedin, and his last position as auditor made . him , well known throughout the Department. The Jate Mr. McAloon, who was a member of a Christclmreh family, saw service in. the war with tho New Zealand Expeditionary Force, and was wounded on the, Somme. Ho leav.es a widow and three children. Mr. A. N. B. McAloon (Wellington) and Messrs. J. J. and C. T. McAloon (Ghristchurch) are brothers. The funeral will take place tomorrow, following Requiem Mass at St. Patrick's Church, Kilbirnie, at 9 a.m.
