KHANDALLAH CLUB
The thirtieth annual report was adopted by members of the Khandallah -Lawn Tennis Club at the annual meeting held in the club house. There was a large attendance of members—the largest for many years—auguring well for a most successful season.
The report showed that three courts had been resurfaced during the close season, and the balance-sheet was considered to be very satisfactory, £70 depreciation having been written'off pavilion, courts, and furniture and fittings. The club's membership now' stood at 100, with 04 active members. . ■
Among the club's activities during the past year was a match with the Wellington Club A team, and the result, a draw, was considered to. be particularly Bgnificant and indicative of a high standard of play on the 'part of the club. The opening day for the 1933-34 season was fixed for Saturday, September 30, and an invitation was issed to , members ot associated clubs to attend.
