SEVERE INJURIES TO HEAD

(By Telegraph.—Frew Association.) OAMARU, This Day. Ross Crawshaw, aged 21, eon of Mr. Frank Crawshaw, ex-Mayor o£ Oamaru, met his death, in tragic circumstances yesterday. In company with. Messrs. E. Swinard and L. Faid, Crawshaw was engaged in shooting shags six miles beyond/ Dr. Gow's property at Tapui. He was found dead with severe injuries to the'head below a cliff 200 ft high. Apparently a large boulder, which was found alongi side the body, had been loosened by the recent rains and fell from the top of the cliff on to the unfortunate young man. -.- i

The deceased was a prominent Oamaru swimmer.
