Mills find Co., London, cable as follows: —"Market prices as ruling at the close, of business on August 17 were: — Butter, market is steady; New Zealand, finest, 91s to 92s per cwt; firsts, 90s to 91s; un.salted, 02s to 945.. Danish, f.0.b., Sis to 85s. Australian, 91s to 925. Irish, BSs to 90s. Baltic States, 83s to 84s. Siberian, 74s to 755. Cheese, market is quiet. New Zealand, white 49s to 50s, coloured 525; Canadian, c.i.f., white and coloured, July make, 50s to 525." Dalgety and Co. ate advised by Samuel Page and Soil, London, August 17:—"Butter, market firm. Danish, 102s to 100s; New Zealand, finest salted 90s to 925; Australian, finest iinsulted 91s to 935, finest salted 90s to 925; Australian G.A.Q., 80s to 88s. Cheese market is steady at present prices. New Zealand, white 49s to 50s, coloured 52s to 535; spot price for Canadian white 50.-,' to 51?, coloured 52s to 535."
