Ono achievcnVcnt in Wellington was in swimming from, the Wellington wharves to Day's Bay, ft performance which she regarded as "a very happy swim."'Mari^'other notable performances are credited to this famous swimmer, among, theni being a successful crossing at. the sixth attempt of the Straits of Gibraltar and a recordbreaking swim from Oapo Town to Robben Island and back.
