A CHEQUE FOR ONE PENNY
(To the Editor.) Sir,—ln Saturday's issue .appears a reference to a cheque for threepence as one of the smallest cheques or*.record. It ■ may interest your readers to. know' that a framed cheque for one penny hangs on the wall of the office of a well known firm of stock and station agents *in Oamaru. I may; add that it was a Government , Department .which was' responsible for this effort.—l am, etc.' J.M. July 30,' 1933.
