AUCKLAND BUILDING PERMITS

AUCKLAND, This Day. The City Council in the month closing today granted permits for tho building of 135 premises—the largest number in any one month since May, 1930. They consisted mostly of permits for alterations and for the erection of houses. Tho total estimated cost is £33,429.
