Tiie Maryborough provincial boxing championship on Saturday produced a high standard of performance, and there were numerous thrilling bouts. Tho finals resulted as follows:—
Featherweight: 15.I 5. Rapier beat C. Elsmore. ... ; . ..: . ... . ■.' ....''
Bantamweight: L. Thomas beat T. Harnett. Lightweight: C Eayner beat D. Hendra. Welterweight: C. Eayner beat E. Morrighan after being floored three times in the last round.
Middleweight: A. Dasler beat I. Nicholls- with a technical knock-out in the third round.
Light-heavyweight: A. Dasler won unopposed. Heavyweight: Mason Macdonald (14st 21b) beat A. Dasler (list s'A\h) on a foul in the third round.
