Miss Patricia Goodsoii, Kelburn, will leavo "Wellington tomorrow for a visit to Dannevirke.

Mrs.- Herbert Kirkcaldie- and Miss Alison Kirkealdie, who have been living in. Wadcstown for some years, have taken a flat in Oriental Bay.

Mrs. Henry Hall, Hill Street, has returned,to Wellington after spending some months in Marlboroitgh. Miss Guthrie Smith, Hawke's Bay; is the guest of Miss Helen Jrving, Christchureh.

Miss Judith Bower-Knight, who has been, the guest of Mrs. W. S. Pearce, Hobson Street, will return, to Danne-virke-tomorrow, accompanied by Miss Alison Pearce, who will be a member of Mrs. Bower-Knight's house-party for the Hunt Club ball.

Miss Mona Brien, Tinakori Road, will leave tomorrow to spend ten. days in Christchurch.

Miss Melieent Grose, Wadestowjij will'bo -the guest of Mrs. Cecil Ollivier, Murray Aynsley Hill, Christchurch, for Grand National Week.

Mrs. G. J. Smith, who returned to Wellington yesterday from Sydney with her husband, tho Hon. G. J. Smith,, left for tho south last evening.

Miss'lsobol Crowe, late of Picton, "of the Home Science Extension Bureau of tho University of Otago, and an old pupil of Marlborough College, will come from Dunedin this week to spend a brief holiday in the North Island before leaving Auckland by the'Mariposa for Los Angeles. 'She will then go to the University State College for Women at Denton, Texas, to further her studies in home science.

Miss Noeline Worthy, Wellington, is spending- a holiday in Auckland, and is the, guest of.'Mrs. Neville Bonham, Remuera.'-... '■ -
