MUSIC AND DANCING
Largo parties of visitors attended tho Athenian Club's gathering at the Pharmacy Hall last evening, when Mr. arid Mrs. Loader were host and hostess. A delightful programme of music .and dancing, interspersed ■■with novelty items, was enjoyed. Songs were given by Mre. Wilfred Andrews /md. Mr. W. W. Marshall; Mrs. Andrews and Miss M. Keegaii playing tho accompaniments. Demonstrations of modern dances were given, by Mr. and Mrs., Southern Colledge, and a graceful exposition of tho told-timo Maxina delighted, the onlookers. • ' '
Ices were served during- the evening and a savoury "wagon" supper waa served. . '...■■■.-■.
Two cleverly-prepared items were the Paul Jones ("The GirL in tho '. Little Green Hat"), (luring which -all the women wore > Glengarry caps of greeu, and the military two-step, When the men wore brightly-banded military caps. • .-,.;■■■ Mrs. Loader wore a black georgette frock with a lace capelet collared with white fur. . ■
