THE CYCLING FEDERATION

CHRISTCHUECH, This Day.

Exceedingly lively passages marked a meeting this afternoon of the Now Zealand Cycling Federation when the dispute between the federation and the Cycling Council of the Now Zealand Amateur Athletic and Cycling Association was again discussed. Heated argument followed rulings of the chairman, Mr. W. J. Walter, and the two delegates representing,!!^ council withdrew.

Mr. Walter declared carried a motion suspending the Cycling Council.

An application by the- League of Wheelmen for affiliation was granted.
