ITALIAN VENDETTA

PAIL OF WATER POISONED

FATE OF SEVEN GUESTS

HOME, July 24,

The family of Carmelo Messina had a feud with a wealthy landowner named Croso, in the village of Fiearra. It is alleged that they put poison in a pail of water at his house. This was used in cooking a dish for dinner in honour of seven guests, all of whom died. Croso survives, because he did not fancy the dish. -

The whole Messina family has been arrested.
