SEASON'S FINAL MEETINGS

The present season's rating, will bo | brought to a close with five meetings next week, and the new season's racing will be opened with the Poverty Bay Hunt Club's Meeting on August 5. The first of next week's fixtures will be the Knngitikci Hunt Club's Annual Meeting at Marton on AVednesday. The Poverty Bay Turf Club's Winter Meetiug will be held, on Thursday and Saturday, and also on Saturday the Foxton Racing ■Chib, the Christchurch Hunt Club, and the Rotorua_ and Bay of Plenty Hunt Club will assist in conducting the final day's racing' of the season.
