Some of . tho southern and western areas already have* had half an inch, which will allay farmers' anxiety and assuro winter feed for live stock. Parts of the south coast havo been drenched, aud the danger of floods is imminent. Opportune rain is also reported from Queensland, affording immediate, relief to tho drought-stricken grazing areas, Tho southorn and south-western sections of that State Have greatly benefited.
