PETONE CLUB
The thirty-seventh annual report of the Fetone Bowling Club, to be presented to the annual general meeting tomorrow night, states, that the membership of the club is now 57 'ordinary members, three honorary members, and one life member. The club had a fairly successful season, winning the junior pennant and the McArthur_ Shield, and being represented in the senior pennant, games in the Dominion tournament by three rinks,'in the midweek competition, in the champion of champions matches, and on Veterans' Day and Secretaries' and Treamirers 1 JJay,, Matches were also pliyed -with, ilartip-borough-and with Lower Hutt. The following were the club clianiEtohs:— Sirigjea, Mr. J. Ibell; junior singles; Mr. K. Lihkhorn; pairs, Messrs. A. Coles and J. Lowry. Many improvements were made to the club's green and property during the year. The balance-sheet showecf «a credit balance of £64 6s Bd, which the executive considered very satisfactory,' especia]]y as a reduction of 10s per member was made in the subscription. The executive recommended the maintenance of the subscription at £2 10s, if possible. • Thanks are expressed to all Who liave helped the club.
