GOING TO ARGENTINE •A. valuable consignment of rams will leave Wellington, on Saturday by the for the Argentine. jftfessrs. Rayner and Son, of Masterton, are shipping thirty-one rams, their third annual shipment to the Argentine. The two previous shipments were Jyery successful. The transportation of twenty of the tarns is being handled by the Loan and Mercantile Agency, Ltd., and their agents in Buenos Aires will take charge vl their marketing at the July sale sifter the great Buenos Aires show lield in July, which is attended by all jtlie leading Buenos Aires breeders. For their 1931 shipment Messrs. Jtayner and Son realised an. average price of 105 guineas, and it is reported that tho sheep are. doing exceptionally well, leaving -fine progeny. The top-price rani of the last shipment realised £.157, and the shipment of ninc,tecn rams averaged £72 sterling. By sending the, funds of tho salo to Lonidon, and then remitting them to IVew Zealand the proceeds were increased [by £152 as a result of the exchange Tatc.
