ONSLOW BEAT MIRAMAR
The newly-promoted Onslow team, which has entered the second division of the senior A grade, made a successful debut, for they teat Miramar to the tune of 16 points to 6. Apparently determined to give a good account of themselves, Onslow played with great zest. Miramar held them in the first spell, at the end of which the score was 3-all. In the second half, however. Onslow gradually took charge, and although Miramar resisted strongly they could not prevent Onslow from adding another 13 points to their account. Ross, Kitching, Julius, and Maokay each scored for Onslow, Task and Webb converting one each. For Miramar Lochore kicked two penalty goals.
