Under .the will of ihe late Mr. J. A. Johnstone, of Dunedin, tho following bequests to charity have l}ccn made: — To tho Dr. Barnado Homes National Incorporated Association £500, to the Salvation Army £500, and to the Presbyterian -Social Service Association, Dunedin, £1000. x Of the perpetual debenture stock in Wright, Stephen'son, and Company, Ltd., Mr. Johnstone had intendod to make a bequest to tho Royal • Now ZealandSociety for the Health of Wonfcn and Children, and tho.ugh this was not pro--vided for in the will,* Mrs. Johnstone is giving to the society, in • accordance with her husband V expressed wish, £500 of debenture stock in Wright, Stephenson, and- Co,, Ltd. The estate was sworn for'probatc purposes at £200,000.
