RARE DOG ARRIVES
Another representative of the rare Stiluki breed of dog arrived from Lou-' don by the Kotorua today to the order of Mr. J. F. B. Stevenson, of Wellington, who imported the first Saluki into New Zealand last year. The newcomer is a two-year-old bitch bred in Mesopotamia. Mr. Stevenson has obtained her from England through General Lance, an enthusiastic Saluki breeder. She is fawn in colour, and her appearance immediately suggests fleetness and intelligence, two essentials in a breed used since the earliest days for hunting gazelles on tho deserts of the East. : ,
