RECORD RAINFALL
(By Telegraph.—Press .Association.) GISBOBNE, This Day. The rainfall at Gisbo-rne for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today was 5.63 inches, establishing a record which beata by 33 points tho previous highest registration, which was in 1919, and making a total rainfall since Tuesday of 7.20 inches. Communication on tho coast road is interrupted. The Tplaga Bay Gorge is blocked t by slips.
