WORKING OF EMBARGO
BEATEN BY BUTTER
NEARLY 30,000 CWT
(Received May 26, noon.) LONDON, May 25. In the House of Commons Mr. Walter Buneiman admitted that since the embargo 19,286 cwt of Eussian butter had been admitted and licences were shortly being issued for a further 10,000 cwt. All had been substantially paid before the embargo.
