(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHEISTCHURCH, This Day. The. fusing of: the wires on "the switthboard in Radiant Hall last night during the Spivakovsky-Kurtz recital caused excitemfent; while the Schubert trio was played. The audience and instrumentalists were startled by sheets of blue flame which came in spurtp like,shots out of a gun, issuing from the'wings where .the switchboard was located. The' display continued for some minutes. Mr. Kurtz, the 'cellist, who had his back to the outbreak, became uneasy and looked round anxiously. The other two.players also showed some concern.
