BRITISH-ISRAEL LEAGUE
"Signs.-of the approaching end of the age (not the end of the,woiil.d)"-,,was. the title .of a-.lecture given: by;-Mr. A. J. Ferris','B.A^' Dip.Ed., in the Town Hall Concert Chamber last evening to somo 600 people. The' lecture was delivered under'the auspices of; the British-Israel League. It was illustrated with-lantern slides aud was preceded by a prayer. Pictures were shown depicting Palestine budding forth, and newspaper cuttings were projected on the screen showing how news items of today were confirming the sign's of the end of the age. Mr.-- Ferris gave details to prove that the earth would not shortly be burnt up, but would go forth into- a glorious period of development, with the nation of Israel as the executive.'power under tho Kiug of Kings. / ;■■/ •.. .
