MOTOR CYCLING
/The annual reliability trial conducted by the Ision Club was a distinct success. Competitors assembled near Thorndon Station and were led over various difficult sections of road in the vicinity of Karori, Johnsbnville, and finally over the old Military Koad from Belmont to' Judgeford. Observers at various points awarded marks to competitors for negotiation, of difficult sections, and there, in'eonjunction with points awarded for a speedy hillclimb held after lunch, decided the winner of tho cup. Mr. C. Jones (493 U.S.A.) made,the fastest time.iin the hill:climb —lmiiv 18 :2-ssec.• Cunningham,, Grieve, and Parker .also registered, mirier hnin 20sec. Final results •■were:—M/-..C. P.
