FIFTH TO WELLINGTON
A ticket-holder in the Auckland district, Mr. A. H. Tapper, Tuakau,. won the first. prizo in the "Great Easter", art union, -which ivas drawn in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall' today. The second/prize of £500 went to Christchurch, the ticket being purchased under the- norn do plume of "3 May Birds." , . The drawing commenend at 9 a.m., but it was not until'lo.3o a.m., when there wore about 110 prizes left for distribution, that tho first prize wag drawn. Tho third pvizo. of £200 went to a Dunedin ticket holder, tho fourth was secured by. a person (presumably a Maori), in. tho Bay of Plenty district, and the fifth prizo of £50 was wqn by a Lower Hutt investor with the noir. do plume of "Faith." Tho art union drawing, which was watched by a large number of people, waa conducted by Mossrs. .N. McArthur and 8..L. Hammond. Mr. J. W.
