WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION
■ The first meeting of the new season's Management : Commit tee of the Wellington Hockey Association was held last evening. Mr. S. B. Browne presided. The following , sub-committees were appointed:—Permanent, Messrs. Browne, 11. F. Bollard, W. J. Pope, P. A. Joblin; match and transfer, Messrs. J. L. McAlistcr, R. 11. Smith, M. J. Cooper; ( grounds and postponements, Messrs. P. Spiers, P. A. Spiers, R. 11. Smith; entertainments, Messrs. Browne and Bollard; revision of rules, Messrs. C. H. Bollard, L. S. P. Butcher, K. Strutbers. . It was decided to ask clubs for nominations of selectors. 1 The championship points will be allocated on the same basis as last year, two for a win and one lor a draw. A letter from the V.M.C.A. stated that one team only would be entered in the junior grade. In connection with the proposed Wairarapa v. Wellington junior match, it was decided to suggest June 3 as a suitable date for a visit from a Wairarapa team.
