Fat cattle values relapsed again, while,store sheep maintained their values. Store sheep: A large entry of about 14,001) h,ead, with, a few. drafts from Marlborough and the Chatham Islands.' It was a steady sale, with prices on a par with late rates. Extra good four-tooth Corriedale ewes sold to 17s; good twotooth halfbred, 15s to 16s 3d; medium to 13s 9d; good two-tooth crossbred, to 14s 8d; medium, 12s to 13s' 2d; ordinary, 9s 6d to 11s 9dj ordinary 6 and 8-tooth halfbred, 7s 6d to 10s; extra good four-year-old Corriedales, to lls '9d; good four-year-old halfbred, 8s to 9s 3d; good s.m. crossbred to Ss; ordinary s.m. halfbred, 5s 6d to 7s; aged and failing-mouth, 6d to 4s' Od. Forward wethers, 7s 9d to 9s; ordinary wethers, ss' to 7s 3d; forward m.s. lambs, 6s 6d to.Bs,ld; medium, 4s 9d to 6s; inferior, 2s 3d to 4s 3d. Fat lambs: An entry of 3300 head. A good sale, with a firming on late rates, especially for butchers' sorts. Values were: Extra prime heavy lambs,, to 15s 4d; prime heavy, 14s to 15s; medium weight, lls 6d to 13s' Cd; light, 9s to lls. Fat sheep: A good sale for an entry of 5400 head. The advance was fully Is a head for medium and heavy ewes, while all classes showed a distinct firmness on late rates. Values were: Extra prime heavy wethers, to 18s 10d;-p prime heavy, 15s to 16s 3d; medium-weight prime, 12s 6d to 14s 6d; ordinary, 10s 6d to 12s; light, 9s to Ms; extra prime heavy ewes, to 12s lOd; prime heavy, 9s 6dto lls; medium-weight prime, 7s to 9s;; ordinary, 5s to 7s; light, ,4s to ss. : ■ < ' Fat cattle:'The'entry of 458 head, was in excess of the demand,, and although the quality, on the average was outstanding, competition 'was restricted,, and values .declined for all s6rts by ■ 10s to £1 a head. Good beef was worth' 16s to 18s per 1001b; heavyweight and medium quality, 14s 6d to 16s; good heifer, 15s to 17s; good cow, 13s to 15s;, secondary cow, 10s to 13s; rough down to 7s. Fat pigs: A good entry of bacon pigs sold on a par with last week's basis. Pork was hi keen demand. Choppers made 30s to 43s Od; baconers, 37s 6d to 45s 6d; heavy, 47s 6d to 55s 6d; extra heavy to £2 18s 6d; .average price per lb; 3d to 4 1/4 d. Porkers, 23s 6d to 27s 6d; heavy, 28s 6d to 33s 6d; average price per lb, 4d to AVsd. I
