GIRLS' COLLEGE GARDEN PARTY
The Wellington Girls' College -was unable, owing to pressure of examinations, to hold the usual Parents' Day last November, and it was decided to substitute a garden party. This event -will be held tomorrow, and the Old Girls' Association is working with the Parents' Association. It is expected that many old girls and parents who were not present at the jubilee will come to school to see the presentation gates and other gifts, and as the wet weather made it impossible for many to see the beautiful pageant of "School Life Through the Decades," arranged by Mis. James Hannah, it will be presented again. Mrs. Taylor will provide some, of those items of marching and dancing by present pupils which are always appreciated. There nro a number of excellent side-shows, and the stalls will be varied and Well stocked. It is expected that there will be a great gathering of the many friends of the school, parents, and girls, past and present.
