MARIST BROTHERS CLUB
Ten new members of the Marist Brothers' Old Boys' Association Football Club were elected at the annual meeting this week, presided over by Mr. W. H. Cudby.
The finances of the club were stated to be in a satisfactory condition.
It was decided that delegates to the Wellington Football Association oppose the proposal of the association to cease payment to incapacitated players. The association's notice of motion provides for payment of medicine and hospital expenses to a maximum of £5 ss.
It was decided to apply for a ground as soon as possible to commence training operations.
