SEARCH CONTINUING
The Secretary of the General Post Office advises that the following message from the Kairyu Maru referring to the search for the crew of the Kinsen Maru was relayed by the Forthbank to Brisbane Radio at 1.42 a.m. today: "Kairyu Maru Sunday noon position long. 157.06, lat. 21.245. We discovered mattress lifejaeket and many broken planks floating in the sea, but can't find raft or boat. Search continuing."
