The 5 per cent, discount on street lighting accounts allowed by the Hutt Valley Electric Power :.Board -to local bodies in its district, was to have been discontinued from March 31, but by a resolution passed by the board yesterday it will remain in operation until June 30, so that the question can be considered by the board when it is framing its estimates.
