WEDDING

FAULKNOR—OLIVER. The wedding took place at St. Mark's Church recently of Margaret Joan, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Oliver and Ralph, youngest son of Mr. A. J. Faulknor and the- late Mrs. Faulknor, Wellington. The Rev. H. V. C. Reynolds performed the ceremony. The* bride, who was by her father, wore a gown of ivory satin and lace cut oh classical lines, falling into a fully flared skirt. A juliet cap oft lace and orange blossom held in place her veil, which was lent by a friend. She carried a beautiful bouquet of roses and carnations. The bridesmaids, Miss Ivy White (chief), Miss Mabel James (Wanganui), and Miss Adelaine Paino, were dressed alike in shades of blue, pink, and apricot, respectively. Their dresses of crepe-de-chine were fully flared and had short flared sleeves. They wore elbow-length ■mitttas and picture hats of felt to tone. Their bouquets were of roses. Little Romana Scott was flower girl and wore a white organdie frock and bonnet to match with blue rosebud trimmings. She carried a posy to tone. ■ Mr. A. F. Faulknor (brother of the bridegroom) was best man and Messrs. W. Chirnside and E. Childs were groomsmen. The reception was held at the Orange Lodge Hall, Newtown, where the supper room was beautifully decorated. Mrs. F. J. Oliver received the guests, wearing a smart black moracain dress with white - vestee and a" black and white hat. She carried a posy in shades of mauve. Miss XI. E. Faulknor (sister of the bridegroom) wore a smart blue ensemble and carried a posy to tone. When the bride and bridegroom left on a motor tour of the North Island, the bride was wearing a smart coat of Roj-al blue cavalry twill and a blue felt lint to match. Mr. and Mrs. R. Faulknor's future home will be at Lower Hutt." '
