Sir,—Reading through .Mr. Leger's letter on this subject, one must be struck by the term "industry," and there could1 JL conceive, be no opposition, whatever if the poultry industry" would York for a mil controlling only such "poultry industry. It is because it wants, however to rope m people who keep as few as 25 hens (it Was originally intended to be 12 only), and who cannot by any imagination 'be considered as engaged in the poultry industry that .all the opposition came about —I am, etc., ■ '
