Considerable interest centred in the store sheep section at the Addington market today, as on Monday, and Tuesday a record low level for breeding ewes wa's reached at fairs. This low level was maintained today for inferior and average grades, but there was a slight advance for the very best young ewes. The fat stock sections sold steadily- and firm 'at late rates. Store sheep: The entry was large, with lines forward from, the Chatham Islands, Nelson and Marlborough, and Southland. -Extra good two-tooth Romneys sold to 16s 3d; extra good four-year, to 8s 6d; extra good two-tooth Romney cross, 13s 6d to 15s 3d; good two-tooth, to 13s 3d; good four and six-tooth, to 13s 6d; extra good six and eight-tooth, 9s to 10s 3d; good six and eight-tooth, to 7s 9d; good four-year, 6s to 6s Id; good'five-year, 4s 4d to 4s ,7d; extra good two-tooth halfbred, 13s 3d to 16s 2d; inferior two-tooth, 6s 3d to 7s 9d; inferior two and four-tooth, 7s to 8s; good four-year, 6s to 7s lOd; average four-year, 3s lid to 5s 9d; good four and six-tooth crossbred, to 12s 6d; good six and eighttooth, to 8s 8d; good four-year, 6s to 7s Id; average four-year, 4s to-5s fld-;-extra good two-tooth three-quarter-bred, to 14s 7d; good six and eight tooth, 6s 4d to 7s 4d; good two-tooth Corriedale, to 13s 6d; good four-year, to 6s 4d. Fat lambs: An entry of 2800 of good quality. Bidding* was keen, and a slight advance on late rates was recorded. Values were: Extra prime lambs, to 16s Id: prime, 15s; prime, 11s 6d to 13s 6d; light, 10s to 11s 6d. . Fat sheep: The sale was a steady one on the basis of late rates. Values were: Extra prime heavy wethers, to 16s lOd; prime heavy, 14s 6d to 16s; prime mediumweight, 12s to 14s; ordinary and light, 10s to lls 6d; extra prime heavy ewes, to 10s lOd; prime heavy, 9s to 10s; mediumweight, 6s 9d to 8s 6d; ordinary, 4s 9d to 6s 6d; light, 5s 6d to 6s 6d. Fat cattle: An entry of 375 head; Best quality maintairM late rates, but inferior sonfc were easier. Best beef made 16s to 18a 6d per 1001b; .extra good, to 20s; ordinary steer and heifer, 13s to 15s 6d; and rough, 7s to 10s. Extra prime steers, £6 5s to £8; prime, £5 5s to £6 15s; light and ordinary, £2 7s 6d to £4 10s; extra prime heifers, to £7 12s 6d; prime, £3 las to £5 10s; ordinary, £2 15s to £3 os; light, £2 10s; extra prime cows, to £6 7s 6d; prime, £3 5s to £5; ordinary and aged, £1 to £3.
