COLONEL MALET
Advice has been received in Christchurch of- tho death of Colonel W do Carlevct Malet, in England. He was a member of a well-known Christchurch family, and an officer in tho Indian Army for many years. Colonel Malct was a son of Mr. F. de C. Ma lot, formerly chairman of directors of the Bank of New Zealand, and also chairman of directors of the New Zealand Refrigerating Company. He married a daughter of Mr. C. P. Thomas,. who for many years was manager of, the Bank of Mew.Zoaland in Christchurch, and /° + Vna^ agCr Of tho trust department of the New Zealand Insurance Company at- Auckland.
