CANADA'S PUBLIC DEBT
j (Received .March 15, 11 a.m.) OTTAWA, March 14. The total Public Debt of Canada, including Dominion, provincial, and municipal obligations, was placed at 6,a39,728,053 dollars by Mr. X, H. Coats, the Dominion Statistician, in evidence before the Banking and Conimerco Committee of the House of Commons on Tuesday. This included debts guaranteed by the Dominion.
