NEW PAY AT HOLLYWOOD
(Received March 15, 11 a.m.) HOLLYWOOD, March 14. A new pay-adjustment agreement opened the way for a resumption of activities at the motion-picture studios on Tuesday after Monday's shut-down. The new plan places the brunt of the salary reduction on the hightlypaid workers, exempting minor employees. Those drawing more than a hundred dollars a week will take a' 50 per cent, cut, with a minimum of 75 dollars. Those between 76 and 100 dollars.will be reduced 35 per cent.
