He is in splendid order, and. is. expected to go a good race in the Thompson Handicap. Lucky Alice is one of the favourites for tho Opunake Cup, and she certainly looks a much improved mare.

Morry Way and Glowlight both went attractively over six furlongs in Imin 17scc. The first half-mile took olsec, and they were both running on strongly at the finish. Glowlight will be ridden by J. M. Pino at Opunake, and Merry Way by J. Leach.
Lady Quex went twice round at an easy gait, and sprinted home over the last two furlongs in 25sec.
Mrs. W. D. Graham has completed the purchase of the rising two-year-old colt by Lord Quex from Shrill from his 'breeder, Mr. John Gleeson. This youngster, who is a half-brother to Father's Voice, and High. Pitch, is a particularly fine specimen who should come early.
