CARILLON RECITAL
A recital will be given on the National War Memorial Carillon, Buckle Street, tomorrow evening, commencing at 8.30. The carillonist, Miss Gladys Watkins, will play the following programme: Half-hour chimes; hymn, "If With All Your Heart," from "Elijah" (Mendelssohn; hymn, "There's a Friend for Little Children"; "On Wings of Song" (Mendelssohn); "Allegro" (Scheppers); hymn, "Abide with Me"; "Song of the Locust" (Maori rhythmic shouting song); "Traumerei" (Schumann); "Coronach," a Highland lament (Barratt); "The Holy City" (Adams); and the National Anthem.
