NEW ZEALAND NOVELIST.
Writing a New Zealand travelogue, Miss Eosemary. Kees, the well-known novelist, is making an extensive tour of both islands, and her book will appear in the form of a diary, with illustrations. Speaking to an "Evening Post" reporter, Miss Bees'remarked that the photographs at' least.wou'ld;be good, but entries written daily in all the well-known and not so well-known spots throughout New Zealand should abound with interest, and -the light, chatty style which is being adopted by Miss Eeeswill have many touches of humour t' delight her readers. .;-.-■• • Miss Bees has.alrea.dy toured part of the North Island, and is now setting out for the South, whero she'will go' down the West Coast to the glacier; regions and to the Southern Lakes.: Later she will re.visit the North Island, finishing up heir journey at Spirits' Bay. Miss Bees says that her London publishers consider a book of the kind she: is preparing will prove very popular in England, where a largo number areinterested in New Zealand and its traditional history.
