Mr. and Mrs. George Tripe (Hastings) and Mrs. Septimus Tripe (Eketa-, huna), ,who have- been visiting Mrs. Mitford, Bolton Street, returned home I yesterday. v - Mr. and Mrs. Philip Wright, Hawke's Bay, who have been visiting their daughter, Mrs. Prank Petre, Tinakori Eoad, returned home this morning. Mrs. C. E. Richardson, Heretaunga, who has been the guest of Mrs. Alfred Caselberg, Masterton, returned home today. l _ Mrs. Kirkland, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrß.'E.,.Welton-Hogg, Grant Eoad, returned to Sydney today by the Wanganella. Miss Drnmmond, who has been the guest of Mrs.' A. M. Johnson, Lower Hutt, returned to Carterton yesterday. Mrs. W. Young and Miss Catherine Young are motoring in..■ the Eotorua distuct, and will return to Wellington next week. Mr. and Mrs. -H. Boryer, Mataroa, are on a short visit to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Hollands have returned to Lower Hutt after a holiday visit to Eotorua. Mrs. J. McSweeuey and Mis. F. Crisp, of Gisborne, are among the guests at the Midland Hotel. Miss M. Williams (Brisbane) and Mrs. E. Mibie (London) are staying at tho Hotel St. George. Miss Pauline, Moore, Perth,. West Australia, was the guest of Mrs. George Castle, Lyall Bay, during her stay in Wellington, prior to tho commencement of a tour of Now Zealand. Miss D. 0. Howitson, of London, is at present visiting Wellington, and is staying at the Eoyal Oak Hotel. Mrs. J. Lowry (Hawke's Bay), Miss O. E. Dunlop, ana Miss E. M. Kite Inn (Melbourne) are staying at the Hotel St. George. • Mrs. J. Eennie (Christchurch) and Miss Betty George (New Plymouth) are among the guests at the Midland Hotel. Mrs. H. Y. Cameron, who has been spending some weeks with her mother Mrs. M. Macdonald, Hill Street, returned to Auckland yesterday.
