WASHINGTON EMBASSY

(British Official Wireless.) EUGBY, February 13. Mr- T. C. Bewley, Assistant Secretary at the Treasury, has been appointed Financial Adviser to the British Ambassador at Washington. Tho appointment is not related to the forthcoming war debts discussion, but is in accordance with procedure which was adopted some time ago, whereby financial advisor, aro being attached to the various* British embassies. A similar appointment was recently made at Berlin.
