The Auckland senior swimming championship's were, decided' this evening, three New Zealand, records being broken and another eqiiallecl.
Miss M. Farquhar won tie 100 yds for women in lmin \i ' 4-ssec, clipping one-fifth of a second .-off Miss Ena StocMey's record. ': Miss J; Webster ■won the' 220 yds women's b'reaststroke in 3min 27 3-ssec, -which was ■7- 4-ssec faster than Miss- G. Pidgedn's record. Miss M. Leydon won the quarter-mile for .women, in smin . 59'S-Bsec which bettered Miss 'K. 'Miller's1 record by 6 4-ssec, S. E. Thomas won the 100 yds men's championship' in 55 4-ssec, equalling 'I. W.I'Cameron's, record.
