TO-MORROW'S CUP RACES

Three important yachting events are to take piace in Evans Bay to-morrow-afternoon. They will be the races for the Inter-club Cup (14-footers), the Duncan Cup (one-design' Z class boats),' for boys under 21, and tho Tauranga Cup (T class seven-footers), for boys under 15. All three races will, be held under the jurisdiction of the Wellington Provincial Yacht and Motor-boat Association. The Tauranga' Cup was recently presented to the association by the. senior yachtsmen of the province, and it will be competed for for the first time to-morrow. The three cups are inter-club trophies and keen competi-tion-is expected. The Inter-club Cnp was won- last season by the Betty. (Evans Bay), and the Duncan Cup by. the Wairoa, which was • then - attached to the Boyal Port Nicholson Yacht Club. ' ■'."'■
